Bacon is good, but I like cooking it next to an open window in my electric skittle so the house doesnt smell all day long. Guess Im wierd.....
No, I kind of know what you're saying. When it's cooking it smells great but when it's lingering in the air, it's enough to gag me--it just smells like heavy grease.
I think I'd like my home to smell of something else other than greasy bacon... YUK!
I am with you! I like bacon but I cook it outside..I let the whole neighborhood think I'm having a huge campout...thick applewood bacon smells the best.....LOL. I cook a ton of it, drain it on paper towels and then put it in a gallon zip loc and when anybody wants a piece, they can wrap it in a paper towel and zap it for a few seconds...(it lasts for weeks!!!).....I do not like that heavy-greasy smell in the house........(I don't allow fish to be cooked in the house either....thank gawd for the gas bbq).....
I burn a lot of scented candles, but I would never buy a 'tallow' candle.....
