FREEPORT, N.Y., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Officials in a New York state village said the fire chief was handed a 30-day suspension for refusing to remove plastic testicles from a fire truck.
Freeport Mayor Andrew Hardwick said volunteer Chief Daniel Fee, 47, was ordered to remove the $24.95 pair of novelty "Bumpernuts" from the truck after complaints in September but the mayor noticed during an inspection last week that the item had been relocated to a still-visible position inside the cab, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

hee hee, iv'e seen a truck down here with a pair of steel bumper nuts..they must have casted them from a cow, their big balls  ... well i guess if you see a truck with 4 nuts you know it's a 4 wheel drive

I don't see the big deal. Unless they had hair on them, or were in an extremely droopy sac, imitating an old nutbag, I doubt most people would even know what the heck they were! And if I did figure it out, I'd just crack up laughing. Those guys put themselves in risky, life and death situations for the municipality, I think they can get a little slack cut to them. There's more important things to get your panties in a wad about (imo).

Had they had those when I was in school I can see them hanging from school buses. We didn't have or do drugs so those would have been entertaining for quite a few. Now days I see very few as they seem to be disappearing in my neck of the woods.
