HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- A Hall County woman accidentally shot herself after slipping while holding a loaded gun, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said the 30-year-old woman went outside with a gun because she thought her animals were being attacked by a pack of dogs or wild animals. That’s when deputies said the woman slipped and fell, shooting herself in the left foot.
She's lucky she was smart enough to have the gun pointing towards the ground, rather than up in the air or her head as she fell. She could have been dead.
