Morning all and I hope you are all feeling fine.

Now, I'm not the greatest one in the world when it comes to finding my way round a computer.

Here's one of my peeves, which happened to me just now as I was setting up a new calendar on the computer;

Typing away and then losing what you typed.

Autosave for the win. That's why I do all my typing from within MS Word.

If I'm composing a long, boring reply for C-D, I type it in Word then paste it to C-D when I'm ready. I've been burned too many times in the past by disappearing posts.

Good peeve, Jezer. This has happened enough to me that when I'm using Word I do regular quick saves and with CD IF I get just enough time before the lights go out in GA, I copy it real quick into Word. Sometimes I'm fast enough, sometimes

I'll never forget the time before Windows really took off and I was using a PC with just MS-DOS. I "thought" I'd lost a 10 page brief and totally freaked out when suddenly my screen was blank (that's a huge doc). Felt like a total idiot when someone LOL came up and showed me the short cut for switching between screens (which I'd accidently done). I don't think I've kissed a computer monitor that long in my entire life when I looked and there was the brief LOL

That's what I did when I used to write my weekly story. It used to take me an hour or more to write it and I learned very quickly that I didn't want to lose it.

I tend to be a little lazy with regular posts and I have had those disappear too many times.

I hate that. How exactly does that happen? There must be a forum hell where all of our lost posts go to

I'm told I have a very colorful vocabulary when my posts get lost.
