Do you use any lyrics from old songs when you're talking (especially to your kids.) When we are at the supper table, we often say Pink Floyd's "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?"

My dad worked a lot of overtime. Plus we had the record. Forever etched in memory. I like to hear the song because of that!

"and workin' overtime"

Wow! Not to hijack your thread OP, but this is coincidental. I've been sitting here for the past few hours tonight watching various videos from The Wall and Animals by Pink Floyd on You Tube.
