A friend stopped by late yesterday afternoon to run a biz opp by me - people who know me already know that if they ask for my opinion they'd better want the truth. What he wants to do sounded great and I told him, but I did give him a heads up about one of the people involved (which he appreciated).
What I can't stand is when someone asks for an opinion, then gets all upset when it's not what they want to hear

I'm not very good at sugarcoating or as my hubby says "blowing sunshine up your a**" Actually I have found a lot people like to hear lies rather than the truth or they just want you to agree with them

General life skills not reading...walk out the door; people do not read signs on the street, in stores or businesses, etc...Not reading books: At work, a 36 year old co-worker (different one than the above mentioned one) was bragging because she has only read two books in her life! How on earth can you brag about that? I understand not enjoying reading, but to brag about not reading any thing?

I think it depends of how sick I am... If it is just a cold, I am pretty much pleasant self, but the flu can render one totally meek unless u have to rise ad be Super Mom -that's kinda cranky.
The last thing that had me shaking my head and saying people do not listen/read with comprehension was a correspondence from a man whose motives were suspect, behavior indignant and not very becoming at all. Fellas "if u listen u will learn something." (actually my grandfather used to say that to us kids, but it will work for everybody) women folk too.
