Today's Question(s): Hi everybody!

What was the last thing that had you saying "I wish I had written that down" ? ~ A good song I came up with while in bed the other night.

Bonus Question:

Which major event in History do you wish you had been able to witness in person ? None.

Extra Credit Question: I will buy some bread and bologna!

"Whatcha" doing this weekend ? ~ City-Data and fishing and food shopping and cooking.

I don't give a crap about the wedding.

Today is:
National Shrimp Scampi Day ~Oh boy!
1961 - ABC's "Wide World of Sports, debuts ~ Hah! I knew Curt Gowdy! I used to paint his house. When I needed to cover up things in his kitchen his wife told him, "the painter needs to be in the kitchen". Curt hollered out, "Dam the painter! I want my breakfast!" That was cool. He was okay after he had his breakfast on any given day....luckily I met him after he had his breakfast on the day I met him for the first time - his daughter Cheryl introduced me to him "Daddy, this is my friend, Jeff". LOL! He smiled and said good morning - then he shouted, "you aint from New York are ya"? I just said nahh and walked away.... whatta guy he was.

Happy Friday/Happy Weekend!

Today's Question(s):

What was the last thing that had you saying "I wish I had written that down" ?
I wish that about almost everything! Quite often I do write things down, but then forget where I put the piece of paper.

Bonus Question:

Which major event in History do you wish you had been able to witness in person ?
Hmmm... that's a difficult one. I'd really like to have been in England on VE day - those celebrations for the end of WWII were quite something and the atmosphere would have been incredible! On the other hand, living through the five years leading up to VE day wouldn't have been much fun.

Extra Credit Question:

"Whatcha" doing this weekend ?
I'm driving up to see friends for the weekend (about 4 hours away) - they had their first child a few months ago. My daughter and her b/f are driving up too. This is the first opportunity we've had to get together since the baby was born.

Just for Fun:

Well, I wasn't glued to the screen and didn't see much of the preamble. But the actual ceremony and the arrival of the key guests wasn't too drawn out which was good. I didn't think Catherine looked overly happy during the ceremony - probably very nervous. Her dress was way better than Diana's IMO, but not sure that I would have chosen it for her. Not keen on all that lace.

Have a great weekend everyone. My thoughts to all those dealing with the tornadoes... stay safe.
