Dear Amy:

My husband of five years has a painting of his ex-wife (who is posing partially nude) that he displays in our home. He says that it is just art and that he paid a lot of money for it.

Am I wrong to feel disrespected and to want the painting to go away?

Ask Amy: Nude ex-wife keeps hanging around the house - The Washington Post

Wow amazing. Would have never thought. I would think that it would be OK to keep a picture of an ex that was sitting at the bottom of a cliff. LOL

OK so I am kidding

I would say a couple of strategically placed smiley-face stickers ought to give her a certain amount of smug satisfaction!

I think she should display next to it a painting of her hubby getting kicked in the groin. Then say "It's just art, honey...."

I have to wonder.... didn't he have the picture in a prominent place while they were dating? Why did she say something then, or when they were first married? Why is it only bothering her now?

Just go buy your kids/niece's/nephews/neighbor's kids paintball guns and tell them NOT to shoot at the painting. If they're like most kids, your problem should be solved in about 5 minutes.
