Not sure if this is representative of the proverb, but for me, freedom is about the ability to be able to make your own choices.....even if the end result doesn't turn out peachy.

Interesting proverb today. Maybe it's about not being in the greatest situation, thinking about it and taking a leap forward which seems like a good move at the time; but ends up being worse in the long run.

I wonder if the frying pan is something to escape from if ur cooking right... Certainly the fire is a LL of a refuge.
