Oh dear, yesterday was a washout and today isn't looking too good. It's a shame because we have, for the first time, full five day International Cricket being played a few miles away at a lovely cricket ground, and there's been hardly any play the last two days.
How, I hear you ask, can a game last five days?
Let me explain........... maybe not!
So, how about this for a peeve?
People talking endlessly about a sport in which you have no interest.
Hubby's best friend is like that. Whenever he called us and hubby was not there he would talk to me about windsurfing for at least half an hour... and guess who couldn't care less about windsurfing?

My Step son is like that. All he can talk about is football. It's almost as if it's a religion to him.
Maybe we should introduce our sons to each other! Lol
Not only is football a religion in our family, we also have those who worship at the altars of NASCAR, baseball, hockey, basketball, bull riding and barrel racing.
