Good morning peevers.

I loved your comments from yesteray regarding turning signals. Driving peeves are right up there as many of your biggest peeves. It's one of the few activities we engage in that can directly affect the safety of all around us and is taken far too lightly by far too many.

I'll do one more driving related peeve for today, and one we've probably had before. However, this is my biggest peeve when it comes to motoring, so here it is;

Tailgating.

By the way, thank you to those who joined in and hello to one or two new faces.

Good one Jezer! Tailgating...I'm quite capable of playing the game with the idiots. But, ....I know better. Blame can go both ways to an extent. Slow pokes and those that are in too big a hurry! Just another hazard of the road and something else to be peeved about!

True to the stereotype, the older I get the slower I drive. I try to be a polite driver by sticking to the outside lanes as the inside lanes are reserved for faster traffic. I have always been careful about tailgating because in drivers ed they said if you hit someone from behind it will ALWAYS be your fault. I passed that on to my kids too when they were learning to drive.
Great Peever Jezer and I agree..try to be part of the solution not the problem!!!!

Tailgating.

Really dangerous when we are on our motorcycle. We had one woman who was so close to us I could feel the heat off her car. I finally motioned for her to back off. There is no way she could have seen our brake lights if we would have had to come to a sudden slow down or stop. How stupid can people be????
