Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up ?
Smaller - we lived in quite a large house when I was a kid.

How about the City or Town where you are currently living ?
The town I live in now is larger than where I lived growing up, which was then a country village 45 minutes outside London. Now it is part of London and is probably much larger than my current town.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier ?
When I bought a new modem, I had to plug it into the phone point near the floor behind my desk. Sounds easy. But not. Had to move the desk away from the wall, which of course disturbed all the neatly coiled and taped down wires belonging to the computer/printer paraphernalia, which then pulled out from the gadgets they were attached to. Then I had to reconnect all the wires, coil and tape them (I hate wires that show), and push the desk back into place. Plugging the new modem into the phone line took about an hour.

Bonus Question:

Do you prefer a
"Sweet breakfast" pancakes/waffles syrup etc ?
or a
"Savory breakfast" eggs,bacon,sausage etc ?

I prefer no breakfast at all - just coffee thanks.

Which was the last one you had ?
Neither - if I must eat something, a slice of toast will be plenty.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise ?
Yes, lots of times.

if so are you a "fan" ?
Yes, it's delicious... and I can even make it myself.

Thanks Karla.

Happy Friday to all.

Just WHAT THE HECK IS IT with all of these people that eat that dainty-sugar-bakery-desserts for "breakfast"? ..
Duhhh! Hellooo? That's NOT breakfast! That's just stupid!
I don't understand you, I stay away from your table, I think you're truly bizarre.....you're from some other planet, you've got cranial troubles, you're a piece of a society of sugar-devouring weirdos! ..............................

Gah.....now I'm too disgusted at people to end this nicely....just go away.......

Good morning, Karla, and TGIF to you!

Today's Question(s):

Is the house/apartment you are now living in larger or smaller than the one you lived in while growing up?

It's definitely smaller. I grew up in a 3-bedroom ranch with a formal dining room, big kitchen and a full finished basement. We currently live in a small story-and-a-half bungalow, about half the size of the home where I grew up.

For the record, I prefer a smaller house, except at holidays when I'm trying to squeeze a dozen people into our tiny kitchen to eat dinner.

How about the City or Town where you are currently living?

My current home city is definitely smaller than the city where I grew up. And I like it much better.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the thing you tried doing that had you saying "Well that looked like it would a lot more fun or a lot easier?

The last thing I tried that I had thought would be easier was wheel-turning clay. I'm gaining the knack of it, but it's not easy. Definitely fun, though!

Bonus Question:

Do you prefer a
"Sweet breakfast" pancakes/waffles syrup etc?
or a
"Savory breakfast" eggs,bacon,sausage etc?

Always savory - sweet stuff for breakfast makes me jittery, and then I crash about mid-morning.

Which was the last one you had?

Savory, of course.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever had Vichyssoise?

I've tried it once.

if so are you a "fan"?

It's not bad, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.
