Good morning peevers.

I went into a kitchen showroom yesterday to start looking for ideas as we'll need a new one. Now, I hate being pestered by salesmen as I think we've talked about before, but it can go the other way.

I was left alone for over half an hour, even though there were quite a few employees there. One of them finally asked if I was okay and I said that I needed a new kitchen and he then just wandered off.

Having been in sales myself I'm a stickler for how people treat me so I suspect they won't be getting the business.

Today's peeve;

Indifferent salespeople.

Well you know Jezer there's just no explaining some people. When you told a salesperson you needed a kitchen they should have put a leash on you. They wouldn't want you to get away... but there are nincompoops out there.

Yep, I agree, sometimes wonder why these people were hired. I usually just walk out if ignored.

It's feast or famine with salespeople. Either they're attached to your butt or they disappear to an alternate universe!

Damn Jeezer, if it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck this week! Hope you can iron it all out.

It was probably break time for the sales person.

If when I started out in sales, my manager got to hear that a potential customer got away without my finding out any details I'd have been roasted!

Nitram- that's exactly what I did- walked out.

I'm only looking to spend goodness knows how many thousands of pounds!

The bloke I spoke to was a waste of space!

I feel like ringing the manager up now- chat to you later!

Sometimes it all falls back on the company as well as I have seen some that do not provide training or any leadership to their sale people. Then they set back and wonder where the business is???

Hello!!!

Indifferent salespeople.

I often would love to step in and show them how they could improve their presentation. But I don't..........I just let them fumble their way through....it's good entertainment for me.

When I need assistance for a salesperson, they are never to be found. When I don't need a salesperson they won't leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indifferent salespeople.

A really great training program does make the difference. You get a chance to see who is there to do the job, and who is there for a paycheque...at least for a wee bit of time. I would have left the store myself.
