One of my biggest peeves, especially when there's something I need to get done but can't because I have to wait for someone to call me back with information.

I’ve been calling daily and waiting for a return call from a person about billing and payments for services for the past five days now. I call, leave a message, and no reply. I repeat this each day and today I’m going to their office for a meeting over this issue. All they need to do is return the call!

If I leave a message for a friend or family member and they don't call back it usually doesn't bother me.

BUT...if I'm on the phone someone and they SAY "let me call you right back" and they don't...

Also, if it's business and they don't even call with an "I got the message and am working on it" then ...

Any company I do business with has three days and one opportunity to return my call. After 3 days I find someone else that provides that product or service. If it's a customer service issue I start a search for VP's, President or members of Board of Directors and start what I call my shotgun policy. If you call and send e-mail to enough people you will get an answer. Don't make me mad, you wouldn't like me when I'm mad.

It does tend to be frustrated when you need information or have a question that only a specific person can answer.

I work in sales, so when someone doesn't call back, I'll admit it is annoying.

This can be very annoying, especially when you are waiting on information that you need or to make arrangements for something you need to get done.

Oh, I am so in agreement on this one. Why do people say they're going to call back unless they really mean to do so?
