The odds are like 195 million to 1, I think I probably have a better chance growing wings and learning to fly. Someone wins, yeah but its never me, seems like its usually some rich guy or scumbag. Have you ever read about how many end up totally broke? Ya gotta be dumb as dirt to do that. Selfish and stupid to the nth degree.

I read that next year Powerball will cost 2 bucks a ticket, they claim they will have higher jackpots, while the odds will go down a bit, I think they are making a mistake especially in these economic times. People will play 1 dollar, but 2 bucks for only one chance, many will opt to play state lottos or Megamillions. While I still will drop a dollar now and then, I've scaled down my dream to just winning the state cash game. That one has better odds at least. I once won 4/5... wow I was so excited there for a couple seconds. I did get 250 bucks, and that was nice, but the jackpot was 212k that day.

If by some grace of god I won some enormous amount I'd spend it on stray pets and homeless kids. Give me a functional solar powered house, a great place for my pets and adjoining shelter for strays, a couple nice old vintage cars just because they are cool, and that's about all I want.

Lottery sales are up across the board across the country. When the economy tanks sales of lottery tickets go up with dreams of hitting it big to solve their financial dilemmas.
