I am one of those that will hunt down a manager and tell them their restroom needs attention. I don't know if they rush to address the problem but I figure if enough folks bring it to their attention they will hopefully do something so people will quit coming to them.

I feel your pain, but I don't like the idea of letting the government create a boatload of jobs (which taxpayers have to pay for) so public bathrooms can be regulated and monitored.

I think if a public restroom is bad, you should complain to the company. Some companies are definitely better than others. If I'm on the road and have to go, I usually go to McDonald's. They are usually fairly clean.

I hear you on that one. When I was working in Manhattan, I saw some God awful public restrooms. Penn Station being on of them.

I was at an RGV site on the pipeline, 30 below, and dreaded the one strange morning when nature called after leaving the local lodge. I found a two-holer behind the trees, and wonder of wonders - IT WAS HEATED...... with LIGHTS (important as this was a little north of the Arctic Circle up by Coldfoot. I wanted to work that site for weeks. We left 2 days later. Darn!
