You may be familiar with those cans of compressed air that you can buy and use to clean your keyboard and electronic equipment. But did you ever think of using it for housecleaning chores?
A friend of mine from work told me that last weekend she was cleaning her windows and having difficulty getting dust and dirt out of the crevices around the edges. She noticed her can of compressed air near her PC and thought she'd give that a try. It worked great! She cleaned all of her window frames and sills with the canned air and said it worked like a charm.
I've since started looking around my house for ideas of other things that would be easily cleaned with canned air, and the list is endless. The best thing I discovered is that it works great to dust my wicker bedroom furniture! It's also great for dusting out the crevices in your car's dashboard and seats.
Canned air - it's not just for electronics!

After eating my favorite bean burrito with green chilies, Mrs Aks has stated “enough canned air in this house”. I listen to her because she knows what she is talking about.
Spoiler
Be aware and not mistaken your canned air. The “fix a flat” can in the garage isn’t good for keyboards and inside the house dusting.
Compressed air is nice. You used to could use a 50 cent can of refrigerants for blowing things out. Now it's about $500.00 a can if you can find it and illegal. Now the other freons are being similarly condemned. This makes it possible for manufacturers to rob us blind. Now you need to pay $5.00 for a can of compressed air! It's the only alternative to using an air compressor which presents moisture problems. Great tips Pam! Compressed air or a vacuum cleaner.
Yep there are a lot of good uses for canned air, too bad they are so expensive these days. I bought a small portable air compressor for under $40.00. That's about the cost of 8 air cans. I use it mostly in the garage to blow parts clean, put air in the tires, blow out the cabinets, blow the floor clean and other misc. things..
I would have never thought to use canned air on the window frames. Now if I could only find some I try it out. Only canned air up here is if I open my windows real wide and catch air in an empty cerveza can

I used to have a can around to clean my keyboard. Now it's gone.
And with the prices they are going for now, I will not be getting another one.
Maybe an air compressor will work like that ??
