The girls like to play a version of hide and seek that involves being captured and dragged to a room where they have to stay until someone releases them. That one is exhausting. I always have sparklers which they love. The kids love the fish pond, but my yard isn't set up for running around in. We walk Howie and play hide and seek with him. The shorties have a choice between sleeping over without their electronics or staying home. So far they always choose our house

Today's tip is making me nostalgic! My family used to enjoy the backyard games...until electronic gadgets took over.

Thanks for the tip Pam! I don't have kids but this tip sure brings back memories of my childhood. When I was a kid I spent most of my time outside playing games like those you mentioned or just playing outside period. If I wasn't doing that stuff I was riding my bicycle or skateboard. I hated to stay inside the house when I was a kid. That's how my parents used to punish me for bad behavior...."Go to your room!"...lol.

That sounds like a blast, indeed! We had so many fun games that we played outside when I was growing up. There were dozens of kids in my neighborhood; always a group to play with.
