I just live with attitude that a thing belongs wherever it is. Running around looking for stuff is good exercise. I hear they're thinking of making it an Olympic game.
Might I suggest a major peeve of mine? Maybe it's been mentioned before but:
People who ask if you mind if they do something they've already done.
'I hope you don't mind but I cut the tree down'. Doesn't matter if I mind; you've already done it.
'I hope you don't mind but I ate the last piece of cake.' doesn't matter if I mind; you've already done it.
'Hope you don't mind but I changed the peeve of the day topic'. Doesn't matter if you mind; I've already done it.
Many folks seem to believe it is easier to get forgiveness that permission. LOL
{{{ What }}} I'd never find the stuff again if it was put away.
It's out there where I left it because I will need it again "real soon".
Disorganized and cluttered, it allows me to quickly reengage with anything again.
OK,,, I'm lazy and didn't put it away,,, that's been my way my whole life.
I've been trying to house break DH for some 27 years now. I swear it's like living with a perpetual 10 yr. old. I'll get really aggravated looking for something in the tool room but he goes right to it. It makes me crazy.
