Good morning peevers.

We're back to mediocre weather here. I'm so hacked off with it.

I've been sitting here at the computer mulling over what to peeve about when I started looking around the room and seeing loads of things that have just been left lying around and not put in their proper places.

So, the POTD is;

Things not put away properly.

I'm probably OCD and everything does have it's place. Everything should be done a certain way too! "Hacked off" I thought that was an American saying!

I would say mine is more based on the idea of having to make so much stuff fit into one cabinet in the kitchen. We have a small kitchen with lomted cabinet space so sometimes when I open a door, things fall out. Grrrrr!

Things not put away properly.

You know you're sunk when you put them BACK in the wrong place after you use them again!!

I just live with attitude that a thing belongs wherever it is. Running around looking for stuff is good exercise. I hear they're thinking of making it an Olympic game.

Might I suggest a major peeve of mine? Maybe it's been mentioned before but:

People who ask if you mind if they do something they've already done.

'I hope you don't mind but I cut the tree down'. Doesn't matter if I mind; you've already done it.

'I hope you don't mind but I ate the last piece of cake.' doesn't matter if I mind; you've already done it.

'Hope you don't mind but I changed the peeve of the day topic'. Doesn't matter if you mind; I've already done it.

Sounds like a good peeve for another day!

Thanks!
