Questions

No cheating (Googling) now...

Who is Maureen McCormick?
She's that blonde girl from that family TV show that I never could stand to watch because it was so nauseatingly wholesome.

What is NASA hoping will happen today?
I'm not sure -- maybe that some space junk will re-enter the atmosphere and burn up before hitting anything?

What's the closest you've come to Baton Rouge?
Hmm, not sure. It would be either Austin, Texas or Anniston, Alabama.

Can you name a film that Marilyn Monroe starred in?
Yes, I'm watching one right now -- There's No Business Like Show Business. She would be 86 if she were still alive!

And what about Loni Anderson?
No, sorry. I've never seen her in anything. Maybe a Burt Reynolds movie?

Do you have an opinion about doping in sports? If so, what do you think?
Athletes who are caught should be banned from the sport for life. Cheating is the absolute antithesis of sportsmanship.

What's the bravest thing you've ever done?
Quit smoking.

here a little early for the left-coasters, but I'm not a morning person so am posting this while watching the Olympics on Saturday evening. As usual, I've included a couple of New Zealand facts in honor of my homeland. (I've now lived in the US for as long as I lived in NZ -- hard to believe!). And now, on with the show!
kapai (adv) meaning good, from the Maori (New Zealand native) language; "everything is kapai".

Birthdays Frighteningly , only Loni Anderson and Neil Armstrong are older than I.

No cheating (Googling) now...

Who is Maureen McCormick? Marcia. Marcia. Marcia.

What is NASA hoping will happen today? that they will take photos of Phobos ? But I thought that NASA was disbanded.

What's the closest you've come to Baton Rouge? Orlando?

Can you name a film that Marilyn Monroe starred in? Niagara.

And what about Loni Anderson? I dunno, just remember her from WKRP.

Do you have an opinion about doping in sports? If so, what do you think? that probably they all do it, unfortunately. The stakes are so high.

What's the bravest thing you've ever done?
I don't know how brave this was ( STUPID might be a better word) , but I moved all the way out to California two years ago with my daughter who prompty left, California, a dream I always had...... I grew to love it & then two days ago moved (with my furniture, cat and everything else) , all the way to Boston to be closer to my son.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Until my furniture is delivered, I will just be here sporatically. Hope everyone has a great Sunday , that everything is kapai & wonderful start of August (already, can you imagine?)

What's the bravest thing you've ever done? I don't go with brave as such but I have chased and caught a shoplifter, and I wrestled a large dog to release the terrier it was mauling.
