is anyone here a traveling nurse? my fiance is in nursing school, and is learning about these programs. everything she has found sounds too good to be true. she has found placement agencies the claim a bonus to sign on, relocation reimbursement, 13 weeks at a facility for a decent rate per hour, housing provided or more money to cover housing (up to $1200/month) then a completion bonus or extension bonus. it all adds up to a lot more money then we are both making combined.
so, does anyone do this? do you like it? what don't you like about it? are the claims of the placement agencies far fetched? is the housing they provide nice and private? pet friendly?
this would be a very real way of fulfilling our dreams of travel, if it isn't too good to be true. and i have never seen anything like this that wasn't too good to be true.
