As I opened this on the small laptop and could see only the pic before scrolling down, it looked like cow patties!
Haha. I thought the same thing and almost didn't use that image! But then I decided, what the heck!

I have an ant problem that keeps coming up, it drives me insane. I've sprinkled black pepper where they were going and a week later I see them walking over the pepper and having a grand ol' time. I sprayed them with 409 cleaner, take that you little buggers! Supposedly Cayenne pepper works wonders and the reviews are high for it, I'll pick some up tomorrow if I remember. I would think you'd need to dry out the coffee grounds before placing them near where ants go, because if you put them in a small pan, that wouldn't do nothing I would think. Tomorrow is cleaning up the black pepper and putting down Cayenne pepper day lol.

Herbs/Spices
Spinkle cinnamon, mint, chili pepper, black pepper, cayenne pepper, cloves or garlic – whichever one you happen to have – in the area where you've seen ants and along your home's foundation. Bay leaves can also be placed in cabinets, drawers and containers to further deter those pesky critters. Why This Works: Many plants – including the ones listed – give off a strong scent to repel ants and other insects in the wild, and it works just as well in your home.
Coffee Grounds
Sprinkle your used coffee grounds in the garden and around the outside of your house. Why This Works: Ants are repelled by the scent given off by the grounds; and incidentally, so are cats.
Hey Pam, if you give your plants too much coffee grounds do they have a 'caffeine' moment and flutter and droop or do they stand tall and salute you with vigor.
Yes when I first saw that thread picture I thought to myself I'm not stepping in that squishy squishy stuff.

I know - it looks like a pile of cow pies! *lol* But they're way good for plants and so many other things. If you don't want to keep your plants up all night, use decaffeinated coffee grounds.
