That Iowa accent video makes me want to jump off my balcony.
I do think that the US is definitely getting less and less accents, but that's kinda expected with everyone going to college, watching the same TV channels, traveling more, and learning more than they did previously.

So you saying the US is getting a new accents never seen before ? Also what do you mean by Iowa accent is bad? It very easy to understand very clear .

When did I say the US is getting accents never seen before? I'm saying people are mainly speaking with the same accent due to all the popular media influences and all that.
The girl in the Iowa accent video takes 4 decades to speak. It's annoying.

And that is not an Iowa accent. I don't know what part of Iowa she's from, but it's certainly not around here. Around here she'd have a better eduction and wouldn't say "A Iowa accent".

Well I don't know about all the US accents, but I can tell ya where the accents are the strongest and that in TX. It aint Chicago accent down there
