Probably nothing. CD doesn't do business in the way other BBB businesses do business and most importantly BBB is merely a useless feel good organization, IMO.
The BBB, occasionally, does a big spread in our paper, with the businesses they've blessed as those you should turn to for help.
Everytime I see those lists of businesses, it smells fishy to me!
There have been threads on Cd.com with this subject matter of BBB, the pro's and con's, comments, and if you do a search you'll find them, and you can decide for yourself!
City-Data is not BBB accredited. However, many non-accredited businesses simply have not sought accreditation. Businesses are not obligated to apply with the BBB.
According to the BBB, there has been one advertising/sales related complaint filed against C-D in the past 3 years, and the matter is still pending. This is apparently the only issue upon which the BBB bases its grade. Therefore, its grade of F has no meaning.
Here's a link to the BBB page which explains the rating.
