When there are 6 or more motorcycles, that number spikes to 88%

Don't have source, just saw it quoted as a statistic on a tv show. Looks like I shall not ride to bars then lol

Were you watching Bar Rescue? ; )

I saw that too, and as a woman, the stat made sense, because a large number of bikes creates the impression of "biker bar", which in turn, to women, creates a feeling of danger, potential for trouble.

My favorite motorcycle quote is ...

"You never see a motorcycle parked outside a therapist's office."

I'd say that's probably from a small sample size, or maybe from a specific area. Around here the more motorcycles you see parked at a bar, the more wealthy folks you'll find inside.

Try visiting my area during "Thunder Beach" in the spring and fall. There are - literally - thousands of motorcyles, and hundreds at every bar and restaurant. There are plenty of women present, too. Maybe because so many of these "bikers" are weekday accountants and lawyers, and weekend biker wannabees, the women aren't put off.

The "Bar Rescue" quote made sense. We're not talking about wealthy tourist place or large city taverns where Jay Leno has his bike parked outside. It's related to regular town bars. I'ld say that over 90% of bikers are fun people; it's just that other few % that ruins it for all.
