So if we had a time machine up and running would you go forward or back? Why? I for one am a chicken butt and so I would pick the safe known past. I really don't think I would miss to much of our technologies. Although asking thousands of strangers their opinion is damn cool. But what if I went forward the day before the end of the world? So witch one would you choose?

I'd go all over the place. Just call me Dr. Who. I'll be a Time Lady.

I'd go back to my roots in Rome where we raced in our customized chariots on weekends. Claudius and I were always trying to impress the women with our togas flapping in the wind. Oh those were the days.

Good Question....I'd go back in time. Maybe 1800, because I've always felt a connection. I could meet my relatives!!

Past. Way back in the past, Dinosaur era. To enjoy the unpolluted Earth in it's purer form. And see some dinosaurs. My main reason for going to the way future would be only to see if we made first contact and since there is no guarantee of that happening the past wins.

And no, I would not teach the early human cavemen the "Harlem shake" either. Never alter things if you travel that's the rule.

I don't like a lot of the changes now, let alone the future. So I'd definitely time-travel into the past, pre-1973.

60's would be great, 50's good. But I would love to "visit" the 20's in San Francisco, maybe even the Old West.
