Good morning everyone and welcome to QOTD for Tuesday, August 6th, 2013. Not much spare time today, so let’s get straight down to business…

Today’s Question:

How many brothers and sisters do you have?

How well did you get along as children?

If you were an only child, how did you feel about that as a kid?

Extra Credit Question:

How old were you when you went on your first date? Where did you go for the date?

Bonus Question:

Agree or disagree (or more if you like) –

Today will be busier-than-usual for me.

There’s at least one light bulb that needs changing in my home.

I love mushrooms.

I probably don’t drink enough water each day.

I’m expecting an important phone call this week.

Just for fun:

Today is National Night Out Day. Are you going out tonight?

Thought for the Day:

Many people live under the illusion that they have none. (Hubert Ries)

Today in History:

1806 The Holy Roman Empire ends with the abdication of Emperor Francis II.

1945 The first atomic bomb used in warfare dropped on Hiroshima, Japan
2012 After a century of silence, Mount Tongariro in New Zealand erupts, spreading volcanic ash across the country's central North Island and affecting airports

Maybe. Super cheap tickets available on Stubhub for tonight's Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals baseball game.

EDIT: Just heard on the radio that the forecast tonight is for storms so I likely won't be making that trip. Nationals Park is too far from me to take a chance.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
