Late-morning greetings, kids! Sorry for the tardiness of Today's Tip.
Without further ado, let's scroll on down and check it out.

BREWING GREAT COFFEE

Lots of folks here drink coffee on a regular basis. I thought I'd post a few quick
Tips on how to brew a good cup of coffee. It's worth putting a little effort into.

*It's important to start with cold water when brewing coffee. Never heat the water
first, as you would with tea.

*What type of water you use is important to the quality of your final brew. If your
tap water has any sort of strong odor or taste, use filtered or bottled water. Never
use distilled or softened water to make coffee.

*Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 ounces of water, to suit your
individual taste. When measuring the water, remember that the grounds will retain
some of it and, with most brewing methods, you'll also lose a little water through
evaporation.

For more great info on brewing the perfect cup of coffee, check out the National Coffee Association's website: How To Brew Coffee - National Coffee Association.

Now go and enjoy a cuppa joe!

Thanks for the tip Pam! I like coffee but I have to drink decaf. Regular coffee messes with my heart rhythm, which is not good...lol.
