Ever have one of those days where you would have been better off staying in bed? My boss has been after me to turn in some paperwork. This morning I got up early just to take care of it. I was getting the paperwork ready to send out when I noticed I still needed to make a copy of a receipt for my records. No problem...Since I would be sending everything by FedEx I headed on over to FedEx Kinkos where I could make the copy and package everything up to be shipped. I get to Kinkos and headed over to a copier. Not wanting to use a credit card for a 9 cent purchase, I had to get a prepaid copier card. Could not just buy a card good for one copy. Was told to purchase a 1 dollar card and they would refund whetever was left on it when I was done. Went and made my 9 cent copy. Then it was off to the counter to get my 91 cents back and drop off the package. All in all it took me almost 20 minutes just to make a single copy of a receipt. I got into my Jeep and took off. I was 3 or 4 miles down the road when I realised...

I left my copy of the receipt in the output tray of the copier. Guess I did not need a copy that bad.

My dryer quit. Dh took a look, said oh it's this, the part company said no, it's probably this part, so you have to take the back off etc, well, no it's NOT, but since the dryer's pulled out, let's fix that sillcock that's messed up. Fast forward a week,

Prepare to replace the outdoor faucet...turn off water. Remove old sillcock. Put cup under to catch water. Go buy new sillcock. Don't have one here, go there. Ok, no problem. I'm home dumping out bowls of water while he is getting the part. Ok. Got the part. He's inside, I'm outside turning the piece, fitting it on. Turning turning turning ARGH!! STOP YOU BROKE THE PIPE!!! I go in to examine my act of destruction, sure enough, there's a copper pipe now in two pieces...dripping. Off to buy a torch and solder and this that and the other. I'm home catching the bowls of water and dumping them. Got the torch, gonna fix that pipe. Torch torch fire fire fire oh, where's a squirt bottle (our water is shut off)(great). Got the pipe fixed. Now, Let's see that faucet--OM*&^*%G-you turned it too far, it came unthreaded, this won't work, it has to go back. Go back inside, torch torch torch, fire fire, break the pipe loose again. Unscrew new piece. Return it to store. Forget receipt. Come back. Return to store. Don't have anymore of those...but hey we have this one up here, not for public buying yet but yes, we can sell it to you. Get home, once again, I'm outside, plenty dark by now, turning turning turning. It's on, it's getting tight, yep it's tight enough, and...the water comes straight out at about a ten o'clock (~280 degree) angle. Mission Accomplished.

Yep, I've had days like that.
