I'm heading off there some time today in order to drop off more stuff and pick her up.
The distance isn't too far- around 170 miles there and back but the journey can be a pain at times. I'm aiming to vary the route so that I don't get bored.
One thing that is becoming ever more noticeable these days is the shortening of the day. There is a marked difference between the lengths of the day throughout the year.
That difference was not so pronounced in Houston, so how is it where you are?
I'd be interested in your replies to today's POTD, which is;
Is the last pic a a Jag? I'm guessing because of the long front end. Takes a lot of length to squeeze 12 cylinders in. (probably not i don't see the hood emblem) The Morgan is wicked cool!

When I looked at the first car, I suddenly was overcome with memories of watching "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with my kids. (Giant Grins)
Shorter days, changes in the seasons, I love the change. I love how each season brings a change in the sunlight. In the spring, the sunlight is a lighter shade of yellow... summer it is a warm, strong yellow... in the fall it takes on golden tones and winter is is more of a whiter light.
Or at least that's the way my eyes have perceived it.
The shorter days aren't causing me a problem YET. They could later. One of the things that can really slow you down delivering mail wise is delivering it in the dark. I have a miner's light thing to wear but, it's still a real pain to have to put it on and use it. Plus, you have keep an eye on the batteries.
I looked it up and today is supposed to be 28 seconds shorter than yesterday
