Nice tip Pamster. We call 'em soda-pops around here. Drinking beer through a straw will get you hammered real quick. Besides it tastes terrible through a straw.

Very good tip Pam,,,, I hate drinking from a "can" because no one washes the top off "first". At least the straw helps avoid lips touching the garbage that's on the top of the can.

years ago I saw someone spraying in the back storage room of a retail store. They sprayed everything you could see in the backroom for bugs and the stacks of soft drink cans were covered with the pesticide. After seeing that I stopped drinking anything that was in a can.

One restaurant in my town always serves pop this way, with the straw through the pop tab. They also leave a little bit of the paper covering on the end of the straw so that it stays untouched until the customer removes it.
