Good morning peevers.
It's a bit yucky out there at the moment- drizzly and breezy and a bit chilly. Anyone would think that winter would soon be here!
I'm looking at my computer desk thinking up a peeve and my eye has just fallen on a DVD out of its sleeve. I've been looking for its cover but to no avail.
Similar things have happened with CDs and it does get a bit annoying when you end up with these things hanging around.
Mind you that not as bad as when you open up a DVD/CD cover and find the wrong one inside.

Wait til you have Grand kids Jezer! It's an unholy experience. My G kids have made a mess of all the DVD's at their home. I keep my own batch here and do my best to protect them. It's near impossible because these kids have been do it yourself-er's since day one. Same with video games. They can make a hell of a mess in no time.

Discs not in their rightful place
CDs have fallen by the wayside here, like 8 track tapes, 45 rpms and 78 records.
Satellite radio offers an abundance of all kinds of music, with endless selections, in our home and car. I'm amazed at how wonderful this is, and cheaper than buying all the CDs.
Now, what am I going to do with those 300+ CDs ????

I fixed that problem and stopped marking the disc and the covers when I made copies of data.

The "rightful place" is a matter of opinion in this house.

As a former library clerk and a lifelong student of all that is orderly, I go a little nuts when things aren't where they should be -- discs included. I still have some older CDs that I listen to in the car, and they're all in a neat little leather pouch. I don't have too many other discs around anymore. May be a good thing?
