Morning y’all
A big thank you to MMike for taking over DJK yesterday (hey Mike, I'll be checking the mail for
my cut from yesterday's donations, okay)
. . . . . Didja Know?
3 1/2 years ago when a Virginia man was looking for work, a friend told him he didn’t have
to pay the toll on the Dulles Toll Road if the booths were unmanned after 11:30PM. Cool, right?

Wrong, and so was the friend. The Virginia Department of Transportation just took the guy to court
because his outstanding bill had ballooned from a manageable $440 to over $200,000 with late fees
and interest

“They provided me with a stack of summonses that was 12 inches high, and me and my lawyers, the
best that we could do was $40,000,” he said. “Another kicker is they put me on a payment plan for $150
a month.” . . . . he figures he'll be around 87 when he pays off the bill.

Sounds like a high rate of interest!

And they talk about loan sharks!

If the check's on its way, did you remember to add Joy's late fees and interest charges?

I hated living in VA and those damned Tolls. I'm glad where I am now - Not one toll.

He pays more monthly on Toll support - than some pay in child support. OOPS...

He should sue his friend for bad advice and have him pay the toll.

There should be at least a gold colored marker placed at the edge of the highway saying “this mile of Dulles Toll Road highway paid for by Jason Bourcier”.

"Just the facts, ma'am"

Is what he should have said to the friend. And perhaps been smart enough to check them with the state, or not, considering.

Bonus points if you know the TV show that's from.
