But, this is actually interesting stuff... per howstuffworks.com, they produce gas at both ends!

That’s so true; they have a gas supply that won’t quit.
I remember many years ago on grandpa’s farm trying to get a cow moved into the barn for milking…… it took forever. And they don’t back up easily, just when you steer one end where you want it the other end moves back out of place. And always keep one eye on the floor, you never know what you’ll step into…………
