Good morning peevers.

It's Tuesday, so an early start here in Jezerville.

It's great to see that bit by bit the days are getting longer, especially noticeable in the evenings.

I was umming and ahhing about what peeve to post today when I suddenly remembered something that Mrs J had shown me a few days ago.

Here it is;

Chinese New Year: BBC subtitle blunder reads 'Welcome to the year of the whores' - TV & Radio - Media - The Independent

I'm not sure about getting lost in translation- I see this as more to do with predictive text.

Have you ever had an issue with it?

Let's hear because the POTD is;

Where did that word come from?

The BBC seems to be struggling these days as are American media to make sense. Unfortunately most news sources these days are about as dependable as the internet.

Okay, I read that it's the Year of the Horse. I can see how that might happen. Wasn't there a movie about Lost in Translation? There ya go.

I don't see how someone didn't notice that mistake or maybe they did and let it slide anyway. It is funny though.

I'm surprised that the BBC didn't catch that one. Or, maybe they did.
