I don't mind going to the dentist but they always end up having to inject extra of that numbing stuff as it doesn't work very well on me but then takes aaaages to wear off.
This reminds me though, I really ought to go to the dentist, its been years and I'm pretty sure I need a root canal done.
Good morning Jezer,I love the butterflies Visiting the dentist. I really have a fear of going to the dentist, even when he is so gentle, kind, understanding, but those sounds of the drill..oh my gosh..I have no words ...as a child they did not use special needles to numb the area and we had a dentist ,boy was he rough edged, from the military and his voice could be heard in the hall and I remember he always told me"toughen up little girl,Bavarians do not know any pain" ...this phrase is stuck permanently in my head and my kids always joke to me about it .
Always had a fear of the dentists office and normally would have to be gassed (in a good way) just for them to do anything. Must say though the one I found up in the city is so good and his assistants are so gentle never needed anything when they did work.
Bummer- for the first time in years I need some big work doing.
I go privately so despite having insurance for regular work this one is going to hurt in more ways than one.
