Good morning peevers.

It's a bit misty and chilly out there at the moment, but I bet a few of you would swap that for some of the nasty weather around at the moment.

Later on this morning I have an appointment with my dentist and my hygienist, both regular check ups.

I don't have a fear of dentists, indeed I usually forego the injection that numbs the area prior to drilling.

That's not the case for some of us who really don't like a visit there.

How about you?

Let's find out as the POTD is;

Visiting the dentist.

No point in taking any photos at the moment, unless you like seeing mist.

So I thought that I'd check out the photos of round here from last March, and saw that of course we were on that Caribbean cruise!

How time flies!

So in order to brighten up my, and hopefully your, day here are shot shots taken around a year ago on the island of Aruba;

Dentists-if the drilling doesn't get you, the bill will.

Love those photos, Jezer. We used to call butterflies flying flowers.

I don't mind going to the dentist but they always end up having to inject extra of that numbing stuff as it doesn't work very well on me but then takes aaaages to wear off.

This reminds me though, I really ought to go to the dentist, its been years and I'm pretty sure I need a root canal done.

Good morning Jezer,I love the butterflies
Visiting the dentist. I really have a fear of going to the dentist,even when he is so gentle,kind,understanding,but those sounds of the drill..oh my gosh..I have no words ...as a child they did not use special needles to numb the area and we had a dentist ,boy was he rough edged,from the military and his voice could be heard in the hall and I remember he always told me"toughen up little girl,Bavarians do not know any pain" ...this phrase is stuck permanently in my head and my kids always joke to me about it .

Always had a fear of the dentists office and normally would have to be gassed (in a good way) just for them to do anything. Must say though the one I found up in the city is so good and his assistants are so gentle never needed anything when they did work.

I don't mind going to the dentist, my hygienist is cute and takes my mind off of the work being done.
This peeve reminds me of this TV episode on Seinfeld

Here's another clip- viewer discretion advised! I've never found Steve Martin funnier;

Little Shop of Horrors - Dentist Song - YouTube

Bummer- for the first time in years I need some big work doing.

I go privately so despite having insurance for regular work this one is going to hurt in more ways than one.
