NEW YORK - A counterterrorism detective who says his failed drug test came because his wife had spiked his meatballs with marijuana has filed a lawsuit to get his job back.
Anthony Chiofalo asked the court to declare that his firing in August from the New York Police Department was unreasonable and unconstitutional, to declare that a damning hair sample was improperly taken and to order his rehiring with back pay plus interest, seniority and all benefits.

I know this post is old,but it was too funny to ignore. Had to dig out Do's hipwaders for it.
What I want to know is WHY did his wife spike his meatballs? Also, how does stuff like this even make it to court in the first place?
Go figure...
LOL I'd say he really PO'd his wife On a serious note though it probably went to court due to his profession - don't think it would be real good to be a counterterrorism detective and be puffin'.
I thought that state was broke. Do you know how much it costs to do the drug analysis with hair as opposed to urine. True the hair is harder to botch the tests but really; that's alot of money.
And saying his wife did it is like all the ones who say they took a drink of a friends drink (which could happen) or how about the one who said he took a drink of his girlfriends drink and from her saliva got cocaine in his system (he won). Oh and the one who kissed his girlfriend after she took a hit off of a joint. I bet there's a million of them.
