I used to chew my pencils in school and later my fingernails. Old habits long gone these days.

Wit-nit's post reminded me of a program I saw the other day that stated koala bears sleep anywhere from 18-20 hours a day... talk about sleeping your life away! That's even more than my kiddos did in their teens & I thought they had everything beat!

This seems to confirm their sleeping habits (right-side column under their energy levels):

Well they're so cute and cuddly they look like they're made to sleep. They look like they can sleep in more positions than me.

So true. When we were in Sydney Australia back in 1995 we went to the Taranga Zoo and got to hold a Koala and have pictures taken. They are cuddly and do sleep almost all the time. They eat primarily eucalyptus leaves.
Anyone visiting Sydney I recommend they go to that zoo. It's very interesting and they have a lot of unusual animals on display there in large open natural fields.

If teddy bears weren't modeled after them they should have been. Maybe the eucalyptus puts them to sleep.

I'd love to see the zoo in Sydney. I'm sure they have many unusual animals. Then I could hit the bars for some grog and put myself to sleep.

Spoiler
That's me in the dark blue in top center. Had to get a photo of the two German gals (frauleins) I helped up minutes earlier.
Oh that's a habit of mine....maybe not geographically, but it seems I find myself a lot 'cliff-hanging'.
