Every social network has its own collection of "emoji" (once and maybe still known as "emoticons") to choose from. Don't even try to lie and say you've never "grabbed" one to help communicate your feelings about a subject or add emphasis to a thought. The array on C-D is comparatively small but has some unique ones regardless. Out of all of them there are some I rarely use, and many more that get into the rotation pretty often. My favorite by a country mile is:

But and and and and aren't all that far behind.

and

I wish we had more, though. Could probably replace too, as most people use . I'd love to see an evil grin and a leer .

Also, maybe one for rolling on the floor laughing.

The animated ones could be a server space issue or a timing thing. I noticed that threads like the QOTD that have a lot of animated emoticons take longer to load.

My favorites are and because they're so darned cute and often reflect how I feel.

My least favorites are and because, as a moderator, I often seen them used in conjunction with personal attacks. In most contexts, they are rude at best.
