The first person to respond will then announce a "Topic" for discussion*. It can be as unclear, ambiguous and vague as you'd like it.

Being of interest to the masses is a plus! Being informative is not necessary. Remember the "Topic" you choose can be in any form. One or several words or phrase form. Hopefully you will post examples of your chosen topic somewhere in the thread. Please highlight your choice of topic in some manner.

* No politics or other ugly topics please.

Thanks to all for your contributions, Large or Small.

*Remember anyone can start the thread if you see it's running late. Like past 8:30 CST.

In my neck of the woods the Spanish missions are having a weekend of festivities to honor their new classification as World Heritage sites. Also 3o miles away from us in Floresville the balloons will fly for the next 3 days.

In my neck of the woods we are all watching the grass in our yards die. We're in an "extreme drought" and have been for several months. Plus, we've been operating under watering restrictions for several years.
However, there is a possibility that it will rain next Thursday. Hope springs eternal.

We've watched as grass die as well Ketabcha. Drought continues and so does the heat. Record breaking 96 here the other day. Expecting a couple cooler days this weekend.
