Where I grew up as a child was on a historic site dating back to the 1700's.. The Chief of the Indian tribe had a daughter.. a English man befriend the Chiefs daughter.. the Chief burned down the trading post.. my Historic place.. where my child hood home was built.. years later after my father sold the place a professor (the new owner) of the college that did paranormal studies his son saw things in my old homestead.. the professor doing research on this he found out when the trading post was burned back in the 1700's the owner of the trading post lost his son in the fire.. his son was born on a certain date in 1700.. when I was born it was 200 years later same day -month-and year. My father was injured in WWII walked with a limp.. in the studies done on my old homestead.. they saw a apparition walking with a limp down the hall way.. they also saw a female apparition sitting near a window.. looked like she was spinning yarn or doing something near the window.. my mother was a avid oil painter for years.. this is were she sat painting each day. I found all this out about 20 yeas ago from people who I knew up North they sent me a 2 page article in the local paper about my childhood home. The owners of the home have no clue about me.

Have you known or heard of anyone who had an unexplained feeling about something that came true? Me.

Please, give any details, observations or mental meanderings you care to share: I moved to Portland in '78 and I had this feeling that Mt. St. Helens was going to blow before long. That was before any activity started to stir warnings, and my husband used to poo-poo me, but I was certain I was right. And there have been other things....

Let's forget about it and have a Happy Thursday!
Thanks, BJH.

Today's Tenderfoot Questions:
Have you ever stepped on a Lego with a bare foot?

No, thank heaven. Did you know that they make anti-Lego slippers now? They're supposed to protect your feet if you step on one.

New LEGO Slippers Will Spare Parents The Unique Pain They Know All Too Well

What else have you stepped on barefoot and lived to regret?

Hey! Who ate my chocolate?
Not me! I'm innocent.
Two squares are missing. Was it you? If so, did you enjoy?
I would have enjoyed it if it had really been chocolate and if I had eaten it.It's not even the right color for chocolate!
Did my chocolate (or the last chocolate you enjoyed) have anything in it like nuts or crisped rice or raisins, etc?
The last chocolate I enjoyed was Starbucks hot cocoa mix, and there was nothing in it but hot milk.
Or what about an extra flavor like mint or orange or so on?
I like Kahlua in hot chocolate. I also like mints covered in dark chocolate and those chocolate orange wedges wrapped in foil that come out around the holidays.
Extra Credit from the Clairvoyance Department:
Have you known or heard of anyone who had an unexplained feeling about something that came true?
Yes, I have a friend who often has premonitions.
Please, give any details, observations or mental meanderings you care to share:

My friend once had a premonition several days before a big race that a famous race horse was going to break a leg. He told his friends about it. (My friend, not the horse! ) Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. The horse survived, but his racing career was over.

Thanks for the chocolaty good questions, bjh!
