I just realized it's almost 2007.http://webpages.charter.net/connectingzone/shock/17.gif (broken link) OMG, I can't believe that! I never thought I'd see the millenium. It always seemed so far away. Now it's almost 7 years later.
I remember when I was a kid they used to talk about travel in the 21st century. They said we'd have flying cars by now.
How was 2006 for you? Was it a good year, great year...a year you'll never forget?
How many of you made it to where you wanted to go and how many have to wait until the new year?
What are your reflections of 2006?

06 was a pretty good year IMO.

We dont have flying cars yet, but we have cars that can parallel park themselves. Does that count?

Hey Grammy! We have a farm and it's been wet. Muddy. Good for crops. When I read your post, for some reason, I thought of the Y2K scare. You know some were afraid of 1999 changing into 2000. Alot of people bought retreat property to fix a kind of bunker, incase World War Three broke out. I wonder if they're still in those bunkers. Just kidding.

You're right, Steve. Forgot about them. Geez, think about it. We have phones you can carry anywhere, I can send my daughter a picture in a minute and I cook my dinner in 4 minutes if I want. Maybe we will have flying cars soon.

I think the Lord has been very good to me and my family this year. I am still unemployed and my photography business is not taken off the way I was hoping for but God has provided ALL of my needs just like He said He would. I feel so grated to the GOOD Lord for all He has done and all He is going to do!

Grammy, My family and I had a terrible year. I'm glad it's soon to be over. Definetly looking forward to 2007. Better day's in 2007, I'm sure of it.

I've had both one of the best years and one of the most trying years in 2006. I bought a beautiful home, had the time to redo what I wanted to remodel and make the place beautiful to my tastes, and enjoy this wonderful area. But I almost died in May as well and spent a week in the hospital and it's taken me months and months to recover. I'm thrilled to be alive, but it has been a long struggle to try and get back to normal and it's not quite there yet, though it's much better!
It does seem strange that we're already at the doors to 2007. I remember clearly having to stay up on call all night for my bank for New Years of 2000 because we didn't know what to expect with the whole Y2K hubaloo then. It seems incredibly futuristic in some ways, but then time flies before you know it!
