Is this the new fashionable word today that's going to replace Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! ?

I had a Catscan today at a Radiology center. I was asked a number of questions before the imagery. After just about every question, came: Perfect!

I went to get my Catscan, and again I ran into a worker there was overusing the word Perfect!

I was almost ready to give this worker a Perfect Slap or Perfect Pinch to her thighs if I heard the word Perfect one more time!

This is far from the first time I've run into Perfect responses. It may become an epidemic.

Well, anyway, if it's good-bye to Awesome-awesome-awesome I'm perfectly OK to accept the word change.

How about you?

And what will be the next fashionable word to be used ad infinitum? Get out your Roget's Thesaurus and then guess!

Yeah if I were getting scans and I heard the word perfect repeatedly I'd be OK with that. Beats "concerning", I've been through concerning and that's no fun.

You make a good point.

Yes, I hear "perfect" as an all purpose affirmative, the way I used to hear "absolutely" instead of "yes" or "sure."

Most of the time the person could just thank me for my filled out form, or my cooperation with a med test. Instead I am told my action is "perfect."

Whatever.

I don't mind it at all. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it, especially when it is concerning your health. It's better than hearing "ooops, got to do that again" or silence.
