I don't know if any of that makes sense. I am not done with my coffee yet.
That makes perfect sense. I'm the same way also. I try not to be in the same place they are. Just don't like drama, you know.

I seem to respect my father a lot these days and I am finding myself wondering why. When I was a kid he was a domineering butt hole. He was a cop that spent hours shining his leathers, never a hair out of place. prior to this he was a marine, when I was born he was in Japan. As a teen I promised myself I would be nothing like him but now I can spend hours talking on the phone with him. Its so weird really, he can appreciate things I never thought he could. He is retired, sort of, hes leaving again on Monday to set up security for a company in Alabama with my Mom. He is the reason I went to two elementry, two middle and three High schools and in that respect he has never changed. If he doesn't get to travel 9 months out of the year hes depressing to talk with but he can laugh about it. If someday I learned he was a spy for the government a lot of whats gone on would make a lot more sence. Hes an idea man but not a hands on man, at one time he was chief of police, had a night club and owned a store that my brothers and sisters worked at, some oil wells or a percentage of and yet I can't remember him ever working or being around.
Now when we talk its the beauty of this or that place, current events, the importance of quality, technology, the future and the exceptance he has for not being in control. I'll miss the man some day and between now and then we will not see much of each other, but we will talk. I guess I respect him but I can't say why...lol
