Today's Question(s): Do you watch the TV show Wheel of Fortune? Used to, no longer. I am old enough now, and it has been on long enough now, for it to have "jumped the shark" for me long ago.
Do you get offered the senior discount without asking? No.
Ever played bingo? Yes. Now ask me if I ever win........ Foodie Question(s): Yes or no or ideas for:
-Potato salad? Yes. Homemade and nothing fancy. A real summertime favorite.
-Cole slaw? Only if made with sugar and not a vinegar dressing.
-Macaroni salad? Tuna macaroni salad, yes. Not too much Miracle Whip, tho. Just enough to make it not dry.
-Other starchy salads or slaws? Love me pastas, breads, gravies, and all other carbs/starches.

Do you believe in or have you or those you know experienced "love at first sight"? Oh, yea. Happened when I was much younger. Took one look, I was mesmerized. Couldn't take my eyes off of him or stop thinking of him. It didn't go anywhere due to the circumstances, but that feeling and memory has stayed with me forever.

Do you watch the TV show Wheel of Fortune? I watch Celebrity Wheel of Fortune because nothing else is on 8PM that day of the week. I don't watch the one that's on daily.

-Potato salad? Yes. I like German potato salad the best. Buddy's Barbecue makes a decent regular potato salad. Can't get German potato salad around here. Best I've had in the last 10 years was in Black Mountain, North Carolina. -Cole slaw? Yes. The best is made by Calhoun's (chain restaurant) around here. -Macaroni salad? It's okay. Just don't buy it in the supermarket deli section. -Other starchy salads or slaws? No

That hasn't happened yet, but once I was carded at Trader Joe's when I was buying wine. I burst out laughing because I was more than three times the legal drinking age. Ever played bingo? Not since I was a kid. Foodie Question(s): Yes or no or ideas for:
-Potato salad? Marinate the cooked potatoes
-Cole slaw? Substitute broccoli for cabbage.
-Macaroni salad? Whole wheat pasta instead of the gummy white stuff.

Do you believe in or have you or those you know experienced "love at first sight"? I think it should be called "attraction at first sight" because you can't love someone you just met based on looks alone. You can be attracted, though. That happened with my first husband. I saw him at a party, he saw me, and sparks flew. But it didn't end well. On the other hand, I saw Mr. Bay regularly at work for years and liked him as a person but felt no attraction at all. Yet our marriage has lasted nearly 35 years. So no, I don't believe in "love at first sight."
