1. If the speed Limit is 60, how fast do you drive? 65 if weather and road conditions are good.
2. Did you ever see a natural 4-Leaf clover, Lucky or not? Yes, many times. The last time I found one was last fall.
3. When was the last time you had to do something Lickety-split? Yesterday (Saturday), when I was working at a fundraiser for a non-profit where I volunteer. We were having a festival, and some of the last-minute preparations had to be done quickly before the gates opened for visitors.
4. Did you ever get formally Licensed to do anything besides drive/hunt/fish/marry? I had a bartender's license for about 6 years in the late 80s and early 90s. I was (still am) the member of a fraternal organization which had a big fundraiser, a luncheon and auction, every fall. In order to legally sell wine at the event, our designated bartender (yours truly) had to have a state license.
5. Do you have any LED lighting operating off your household current? I don't think so.
6. Have you seen a wild Lizard lately? No. There are none around here.
7. Have you ever cooked Lamb, or ordered it? No, but I've had lamb a few times at lamb roasts. I'm not too crazy about it.
8. What would you like to do that is Legal in some places, but not where you live? Try marijuana gummies.

1. If the speed Limit is 60, how fast do you drive? I try to keep up with the flow of traffic even if it's exceeding the speed limit, but I rarely drive over 65-70.
2. Did you ever see a natural 4-Leaf clover, Lucky or not? No, I've never seen one of those. I wonder if they actually exist.
3. When was the last time you had to do something lickety-split? I'm over 70, so nothing is Lickety-split these days. Don't rush me.
4. Did you ever get formally Licensed to do anything besides drive/hunt/fish/marry? Yes, I have an F.C.C. First Class license. It used to be a requirement for technical jobs in broadcasting.
5. Do you have any LED lighting operating off your household current? Yes, there are LED strips under the kitchen cabinets.
6. Have you seen a wild Lizard lately? I live in the city. I haven't seen one of those in ages.
7. Have you ever cooked Lamb, or ordered it? Yes and yes. Last week I had broiled lamb chops. It's an occasional luxury.

7. Have you ever cooked Lamb, or ordered it? I like lamb chops but not roast lamb. Haven't had it in more than a year. My supermarket didn't sell it when meat prices zoomed and then I just forgot about it.
8. What would you like to do that is Legal in some places, but not where you live? Barbecue the verb and casinos. I think barbecuing has to do with multi-family dwellings and fire laws. This isn't the first state where I wasn't allowed to barbecue. Not even sure if it's a state, county or local law.
9. Name a Lachrimose song, that brings tears to your eyes. Adagio in G Minor - Tomaso Albinoni. Every time I hear it, it makes me think of the foreshadowing of massive death scenes in movies. It's beautiful but very sad.

3. When was the last time you had to do (something) Lickety-split? - Sigh, I have a story regarding this that I probably shouldn't post, LOL.
About 3 weeks ago I bought 2 pari-mutuel tickets meant for / centered around turf racing in Indianapolis, IN, purchased at Laurel Park which is sort of near my job. Normally I would do this on my home computer but I wouldn't have time.
A sudden and unexpected rain storm held up the races for almost one hour. I didn't find out what happened until I got home. It was announced the main race I wanted to bet on was taken off the turf and moved to the dirt. 4 horses scratched. The nice priced turf horse I liked to win was still scheduled to run but instead of running in a nice competitive 11 horse field on the turf it was now down to 7 and moved to the slop. This horse I liked to win was 6-1 in the morning line was now 6-5 (so a heavy favorite).
No way, I wanted my money back. I drove to the track near to where I live which is Pimlico to cancel the tickets, and I had to hurry. I handicapped for the turf, not sloppy dirt.
The teller could not cancel so I asked her to punch out the result because I thought I made it on time. She complied to my request the results said "cancelled." The rain was so bad after the delay they ran one race (a horse I singled either on a Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket and was confident was going to win) which was won by the horse I picked to win by 9 lengths. The rest of the card was cancelled.
The teller told me I had to come back to get my refund. As I was walking out some of the patrons at Pimlico were kind of shouting at me to go back to the teller. They got it together and gave me my refund.
It was quite an ordeal for me and an unexpected hassle. But everyone was nice and all is good, stuff happens. Goes without saying that safety is #1 with me.
I got burned on a similar situation once and recently (washed off the turf by unexpected rain at Pimlico) so I didn't want that to happen again.
