Happy Fathers day to all of those out there who deserve that honour today. As for me just another day as in previous years, then again the day is young and miracles are known to happen. Kids do get busy and preoccupied with todays lifes busy schedules. Oh well, guess I'll get another cup of coffee and maybe a couple of eggs and bacon to go with it. Steve

My two boys took me to the flea market at 7:00 this morning (fathers are long-suffering ), then for late breakfast at a little diner we usually go to.

Of course I paid for everything, but it was well worth it - I have two of the greatest kids in the universe.

Fathers are always a positive influence in our lives and are never forgotten. If you’re a father “be there for them”, be what they need! You’ll never have any regrets.

We were out till about 1am so I called my Dad early to wish him a happy Fathers day while I waited for my kids to get up. Everyone said lets do what you want to so We loaded up the dog and gear and went out in the Cherokee National Forest and hiked all afternoon, we brought a portable grill that only cooked 4 burgers at a time so that killed off about an hour and hiked an old forestry service road that hadn't been used in at least 20 years, It was a very nice day.
