I never saw the movie, but I read the story in the John's link, and it looks like the demolition and replacement of the hospital will definitely be a welcome change, since it has some disturbing history behind it, including sexual abuse of patients and kids.

Building a new hospital will not fix everything, I also hope they get new staff members with good ethics in their field of work.

The movie is fantastic. If you ever get a chance, watch it. It's funny yet sad at the same time.
