Excellent site. Anyone purchasing property should check the sex offender's registry for the state by zip code of where they are moving to. It's better to know than not know. Unfortunately, they are everywhere; and many have just not been caught yet. We need to be vigilant and aware at all times; and know where your children are.
Children should have an inexpensive working cell phone on them to call home or 911. Sorry to say, it's a sick world out there.
I believe those resources do not include juvenile sex offenders. Sometimes not even school officials are notified if juveniles convicted of a sex crime are in their school. As parents we have to be vigilant because you just never know.
I have been using that site (familywatchdog) for years and check it before I consider moving to the town. It is amazing how many sickos are out there. Well, in CA anyways.

I've checked out the site too. They're not just CA; they're absolutely everywhere.
http://www.nmsexoffender.dps.state.nm.us/ this is for anyone living in New Mexico. I tend not to use third party sites, because they dont give enough information. The NM state site give details and pictures etc.
I know one of the sex offenders in our town married the person, and they have children. They were dating, she was two years his junior and when her parents found out what was going on he was reported.
Thank you all for sharing this information.
It's eye opening & I will share it the website links with the Teachers in our school system as well as with all my neighbors.
Thank you again, it very much appreciated.
